When learning something new, correct and effective FEEDBACK can make a significant difference in a person's speed, degree and depth of learning.
A lot of my students have said, how easy it is to find material for reading, speaking and listening in preparation for their IELTS and TOEFL tests. However, writing, is one of those skills that requires specific and detailed feedback. They have told me countless times how it is imperative to have their writing marked and corrected. But, the one significant factor that has helped them achieve success, has been the valuable information that they have received in the feedback video. Merely having their mistakes corrected is not beneficial. They have found it invaluable to learn WHY what they had written was incorrect. Once they learn that, it is unlikely that they will make the same error in their future writing.

Since the IELTS and TOEFL tests are specifically designed to test a student's fluency and accuracy in their use of the English language, there are certain strict guidelines which must be met in order for the student to receive a high score. It is very unlikely for an untrained person, be it a native English speaker, to sit the IELTS or TOEFL writing test and achieve a high score, since he/she is unlikely to adhere to the specifics of the test and marking scheme. For instance, there is a set formula which should be followed when writing an introductory paragraph for an essay and should this formula not be used, the student would fail to score marks for task achievement.

On this website, I offer 2 different levels of feedback, which are:
1. Writing Correction Pass
2. Writing Correction Pass Plus.

In both forms of feedback, the student will receive complete and detailed explanations of areas which need to be improved. However, the difference is that in the Pass Plus, the feedback is a lot more detailed and comprehensive. I specifically show the student how to write and what to write (technique and vocabulary) in order to meet the marking criteria on the test.
