Hello, and welcome to my FREE Lessons. I have dedicated this space to facilitate further preparation and practice for those of you hoping to sit the IELTS / TOEFL exams.

There are 2 types of FREE lessons that I will be posting on this site, and they are:

1. Sample of students' corrected essays. These are essays belonging to students who have sent me their work to be corrected. If you watch the videos, you will find that I explain whilst correcting, hence, allowing you to learn from others' mistakes, which can be a very valuable learning tool. It is important to reassure everyone that no names or personal details will be shown in any of the videos that I post.

In the videos, I highlight incorrect grammatical mistakes in RED and incorrect vocabulary mistakes (including errors relating to task achievement or cohesion) in GREEN. Any sentences or segments which can be altered for a higher score, are highlighted in italic form for ease of understanding. However, if you wish to have your own essay corrected, you should follow the instructions on the 'Submit Essay' page.

2.  IELTS / TOEFL Writing lessons (Tasks 1 and 2). These are essays (and reports) that I myself have written and posted, to illustrate sample answers for various question types. My aim is to teach you effective use of relevant and advanced vocabulary, various grammatical structures and correct use of the language according to the IELTS and TOEFL marking scheme. When writing essays, I explain each segment / paragraph using clear step - by - step instructions, along with any useful tips for writing accurately and fluently in order to show you how you can achieve a high score.
